Adler Ceramics
Jonathan Adler's colourful career in ceramics and home-ware launched in 1994 when American megastore Barneys placed an order for his homemade pots. After the success of his unique ceramic creations Adler has since branched out into furniture, bedding, towels, stationary and interior design. The ceramics for which Adler is renowned are playfully chic, the models are handmade in his New York studio and then produced in Peru. Adler's inimitable style is based on a classical foundation, excellent proportions and a layer of quirky and fun punctuation.
His 'Menagerie Collection' is a range of ceramic animals simplified to their essential forms and accented with a layer of bold geometric pattern. Interesting, elegant, fun and unique Adler's ceramics are exclusive to Askew in New Zealand.
